National Library Week April 10-16


To honor National Library Week we took a snapshot of a day in the life of the Fitzgerald Library. Here is what happened on Monday the 11th:
  • 1,032 people came into the library.
  • There were 259+ visits to the Library Home page
  • 74 items were loaned
  • 21 items were renewed
  • 92 items were returned
  • 30 items on reserve were used
  • There were 7 requests for school/office supplies
  • 50 interlibrary loans were requested by our campus
  • 14 interlibrary loans were requested by other libraries
  • 27 interlibrary loans arrived for pick up
  • 10 newspapers and 19 magazines/journals arrived in the day’s mail
  • There were 255 searches on Journal Finder
  • 1,297 pages were printed on GremLab2 printer from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • 953 pages were printed on GremLab1 printer from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • 14 reference questions were answered, 13 walk ins and 1 via Chat.
  • There was 1 class instruction with 22 students and professor
