New Databases

Over the summer we have acquired several new databases:

For students of English literature we now have EBSCO's Literary Reference Center. Check it out on the library web page newly created just for research on English literature topics.

For research on controversial social issues we have expanded CQ Researcher to include CQ Global Researcher to bring in an international perspective. History students now have an interest in CQ as well; the database now includes reports going back to 1923 in its PlusArchive section. Locate CQ Researcher and many other related information sources on our social sciences database page.

History students may also be interested in the new databases from ABC-CLIO--America: History and Life and Historical Abstracts and the database of medieval texts from Manchester University--Medieval Sourcesonline. Look For these resources on the newly created history databases web page.

Our recently acquired Lexis-Nexis database fills research needs in many disciplines. It offers access to over 800 newspapers and provides extensive coverage of business topics, legal research, and medical information.
